The Poetry of Primadonna Angela

Primadonna Angela

The Lie

I'll carry on presently
Put my sweetest smile on my face
and do usual things
you'll have no idea
how it really feels for me

Nothing is wrong, there's no need
to pour sympathies into my life
I am strong enough, I don't cry
in front of you
Only late at night in my room.

Who says I'm blue?
Can't you see my cheerful outfit
and bright lipstick
My sleepless nights and puffy eyes
are not known to you
Really, everything is OK
Really, I don't care much for you, anyway.
